Расчеты радиолокационных комплексов «Небо-Т» заступили на боевое дежурство. Комплексы дивизии противовоздушной обороны Центрального военного округа (ЦВО) обеспечат охрану воздушного пространства над регионами Поволжья и Урала. «Небо-Т» проверили с помощью истребителей. Об этом сообщает ТАСС со ссылкой на пресс-службу ЦВО.

«Специально для проверки радиолокаторов с аэродромов в Челябинской и Свердловской областях в небо были подняты многофункциональные сверхзвуковые истребители-бомбардировщики Су-34 нового поколения, которые имитировали возможного противника. Действия военнослужащих позволили оперативно распознать цели, измерить их координаты и обеспечить сопровождение. Военнослужащие успешно справились с поставленными задачами», — отметили в сообщении.

В пресс-службе уточнили, что «Небо-Т» является глубокой модернизацией комплекса «Небо-У». Новая разработка позволяет сопровождать аэродинамические и баллистические цели в радиусе до 600 километров.

Радиолокационные станции «Небо-Т» впервые поступили в войска ЦВО в январе.

В декабре стало известно о передаче авиационного комплекса дальнего радиолокационного обзора и наведения А-50У Воздушно-космическим силам (ВКС) России. Модернизированный самолет позволяет обнаруживать новые типы летательных аппаратов.
